Tips of pinus sylvestris are picked early spring and prepared as "Grandskott soppa" in Swedish, "Guossaliepma" in Sami:

Boil the pine tree tips for 25 to 30 minutes. Strain, and cut up thinly.

Put back into pot, adding vegetable bouillon, nutmeg, cream, pepper. Soup can be thickened to taste with corn starch.
